PERISTIWA kecelakaan lalu lintas di Jakarta dan sekitarnya tergolong cukup tinggi. Berdasarkan data di Direktorat Lalu Lintas Polda Metro Jaya (Ditlantas PMJ), terdapat 9.624 korban kecelakaan lalu lintas pada 2009.
